TWO POEMS

Wearing only skin,
I feel the wind play around the curves
Of my body.
Cirrus clouds sweep in feathers and frost
On a summer blue sky.
I am being regarded.
Pigeon on the fence,
A cat, secret among the raspberries,
Grosbeaks on a branch.
Perfect companions
On this July day.

Black fur on creamy skin,
The cat moulds himself to my shape
Like warm water.
I think of your breath
As the breeze touches me.
Goosebumps,
In spite of the heat.
